We aim to post your items within a few days of recieving your orders. However, we are 100% volunteer run, so please bear with us if it takes a little longer for your items to reach you!
You will receive an email notification once your items are on their way. If there will be a significant delay, we’ll be in touch to let you know.
Framed and mounted pictures are sent to you directly by our framers.
Yes items can be collected from the Porters’ Lodge.
Not routinely at present, but please contact us if you wish to place an order from outside the UK and we can see what the options might be.
The Downing College Alumni Association was founded in 1922. It aims to provide support to current students and to keep alumni in touch with both each other and the College.
Undergraduates and postgraduates of Downing College automatically become Life Members of the Association on graduation – so if you’ve studied at Downing, you’re already a member!
The Downing College Alumni Student Fund aims help undergraduates and postgraduates who need day-to-day financial help with their education. The Fund is predominantly funded by the profits from the sale of Downing gifts.
We are currently able to support approximately 60 students each year, with grants ranging from £50 to £250. These grants make a big difference to students on tight incomes by enabling the purchase of essentials such as books, special computer software, sheet music and travel for education when no other University or College funds are available.
